Harnham are the world's leading Data & Analytics Recruitment consultancy with offices in London, New York and San Francisco. We're in our 11th year of business and benefit from a lucrative business model and deep roots within our industry. We are looking for a talented recruitment leader to join our US business as Vice President and take a leading role in our sales function as it goes through further growth.

The Role -
The role will be a combination of the following elements -
  • Take full responsibility for generating team or country based profit targets
  • Utilise all available resources and support structures to ensure you provide comprehensive, consistent and effective training and on-going development opportunities for your team, breeding a high performing, motivated and positive culture
  • Design, implement and oversee initiatives and activities to ensure team and business goals are achieved
  • Provide on-going coaching and support for continuous improvement within your team, ensuring every consultant achieves their maximum potential
  • Closely monitor and review team performance, ensuring day plans, KPIs and ad hoc goals and targets are achieved
  • Maintain an active presence on the sales floor, helping to promote and maintain a vibrant and motivated sales culture
Brand & Business Strategy:
  • Play an active role as part of the leadership team, addressing areas of improvement, opportunity or innovation that could have a positive impact on future business performance
  • Take an active role in deriving and implementing strategic recommendations to help facilitate the ongoing growth and development of the Harnham brand, supporting and promoting business decisions to the wider business at all times
Business Development & Client Management:
  • Play an active role in identifying, penetrating and expanding new areas, both technical and geographical, demonstrating the ability to successfully generate consistent revenue streams in new markets from grass roots up
  • Lead by example on business development activities at all times by exceeding targets and demonstrating a consistent and effective approach to all sales activities
  • Confidently employ advanced sales techniques to generate maximum new business opportunities within new and existing clients
  • Lead negotiations with clients, typically around terms, recruitment processes and remuneration
Candidate Attraction & Management:
  • Demonstrate expert approach to identifying, approaching active, passive and inactive candidates; including, but not limited to, headhunting, networking, database searching, referrals, regeneration and advertising
  • Thoroughly screen and select suitable candidates to match client requirements, ensuring policies around diversity, unconscious bias, discrimination and right to work are adhered to
  • Demonstrate exemplary candidate management techniques throughout every recruitment process, whilst appropriately handling any client or candidate-related issues that may either limit the likelihood of, or prevent successful placement of candidates

We're open to candidates currently based in the US or UK candidates looking to relocate, we look for a track record of stellar billing and proven management skills coupled with an interest in working for a business with a deep footprint in its market, and comfortable working the 'Harnham way'.
